General Glassapalooza Dates

We have scheduled our first 2 Glassapaloozas of 2012 for Friday, January 6th, or Friday Februrary 3rd.   Please call to reserve your spot. 2012 Registration fee is $65.00 and the class limit is 15 people.  Events fill up fast, so please register in advance to reserve your spot.  The cost is a little more, but will give everyone a lot more elbow room, so we thought that was a great trade off.   Call to reserve your spot today 360-797-1278

Private Glassapalooza - Can be Scheduled on most Saturday Evenings throughout the Year.  Last Glassapalooza of the year must be scheduled no later than November 17th, 2012.

Private  or General Glassapalooza - How it Works and Frequently Asked Questions

1.  Pick your Date 
2.  Tickets are $65.00 per person, a at least 12 participants must pre-pay by no later than 3 weeks before scheduled event for Private Session, Tickets available until session is full for General Sessions.   Maximum number of attendants is 15.
3.  Attend the Event from 7:00 p.m - 10:00 p.m. You may bring refreshments, your creativity and your favorite beverage. We provide basic Glass Fusing Instruction from 7:30 - 8:00. You will have 2 hours - from 8:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. to fill your kiln shelf and complete your project.
4.  You may choose any glass projects of your choice as long as they can all fit on one kiln shelf together.  Artist will arrange their own pieces on a kiln shelf that evening.  Pieces will be fired as arranged by artists.   A kiln shelf measures 20" in diameter.  Pieces must be spaced a minumum of 1/4" - 1/2" apart depending on the firing chosen.  Each shelf load will be fired at the same firing - i.e. tack fuse or full fuse. 
5.  All projects must be completed and be ready for firing by the completion of the Event.  
6.  Any unfinished project needing to be placed in Work in Progress will be discounted at 10% off of its regular price. 
7.  Only one artist may attend per ticket. 
8.  Project choices will be limited to quantities of products and materials on hand.  We will do our best to have plenty of most of our most popular items on hand.   
9.  Pre-purchasing your tickets in advance is the only way to ensure your participation in this great savings event.
10. Choice for bases for pieces other than jewelry will be limited to clear, black or white.
11. Slumping or any other 2nd firings will be $6.00 per piece.   Custom beading will be $3.50 per piece.  Each ticket holder will receive their choice of 2 square inches of dichroic glass to use on their projects.  Additional dichroic glass will be available for purchase.    

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

1.  Can I choose a project that would normally cost more than the cost of my ticket to the event?  
YES, you may choose to do any quantity of glass projects  in the store for the cost of your ticket, as long as they can all fit on one kiln shelf. 

2.  Can I choose multiple pieces as my project?  
YES, you may choose multiple pieces so long as they all fit on one kiln shelf and can be fired at the same firing.   

3.  What happens if I can't finish my entire chosen project by the end of the evening?  
Any pieces which are not ready to fire at the conclusion of the event, will be charged at 10%  off of their regular price.  Any items which are ready to fire at the conclusion of event can be inlcuded in the price of your event ticket.  

4.  What happens if I want some of my pieces tack fused and some full fused? 
You may either buy two tickets for two kiln shelves or you and a friend could share space on each other shelves.  

5.  When can I expect to receive my finished items? 
Items will be ready for pick up within 4 weeks of the event date.  Items will be fired in ticket number order and will be processed with low ticket numbers having first priority.  The earlier you purchase your ticket the sooner you will receive you items.   You will be phoned when your entire order is ready for pick up. 

6.  What if I want some of my pieces slumped? 
We will be happy to slump your pieces for an additional cost of $6.00 per piece. 

7.  Can I use my slump a lot card to cover the cost of my slump? 
Yes you may redeem your free slumps to cover the cost of your slumps. 

8.  Can I use my customer reward cards to purchase my event ticket? 
You may redeem ONE customer rewards card towards the purchase of your event ticket. 

9.  Does my purchase entitle me to receive punches on my customer reward card?  Yes, you may receive one punch for every $10.00 you spend. 

10. How will my pieces be finished?  We will glue jewlery findings to any pendants, earrings or pins. You will be provided with materials to complete cording each of your pieces.  Due to the length of time it takes us to cord multiple pendants, this is the only way to ensure a speedy processing and return of your pieces.  We will add glass hangers to any other pieces, if possible.  Copper wire hangers will be glued on after firing, whenever feasible, but will not be fired into any pieces, due to the need for moving and rearranging of pieces.
