Our Philosophy
We are
committed to providing a creative outlet for people of all ages. We are also committed to providing a place where entire
families can gather and have fun doing something together, while sharing quality time expressing each individual's own
creativity. Creating something by hand can be very relaxing and therapeutic, not to mention confidence boosting You
will be amazed by your results when you see your finished product. Since there are no mistakes in art - everyone
will have the unique opportunity to create their very own masterpiece in their own way. Basic instruction and techniques
will be offered as well as suggestions which will fit each artist's own individual desires. We guarantee you will
have an enjoyable experience regardless of what you choose to create.
Our Shop - A Child Friendly Environment
Our shop is child friendly and children
of all ages are always welcome. We have a kid friendly toy room available for young children or nursing moms.
We have toys and activities that will keep your little ones engaged and entertained while parents create. We also have
many projects that can be done with little hands and feet. Don't hesitate to bring your children with you.
Sometimes you may even find the owner's son Samuel in the shop with her.
Tammy Napiontek - Art Educator. Tammy is the longest
and one of the first employees hired at Aglazing Art Studio. She is not only an employee but one of Rosalynn's closest
friends, confidants, motivators, listeners and Rosalynn's most trusted sounding board for her constant crazy ideas.
Shortly upon starting to work at Aglazing Art - Tammy proposed a curriculum for teaching fused glass classes. Her idea
took off and between the two of them they have carved out quite a niche in succesfully teaching glass fusing to people of
all skill levels. Although fused glass is Tammy's passion, don't let her fool you. She is good at painting
pottery and playing with clay as well. She's always coming up with new ideas for projects and designs and she does
all of this while holding down a full time job at Peninsula College and raising her family. Tammy is one of our super
stars.
Crystal Hendricks - Studio Clean Up. Crystal joined our team in September
of 2011. She was one of Rosalynn and Tammy's former students at Upward Bound and needed a job. She was willing to
do "anything" so Rosalynn decided to give her a chance and gave her a job cleaning the studio weekly.
Crystal is in charge of sweeping, mopping, washing, dusting, and general clean up of our studio. It's a large place
and art can really muck up a place quickly. Crystal comes in diligently every week and pours her little heart into cleaning
the studio and making it look nice and clean. Way to go Crystal, keep up the good work!
Coral Southard - Creative Consultant. Coral joined our team in October
of 2011. Coral worked for the school district before joining our team. She is our organizer and works hard
at keeping everything straight and oderly and making sure everyone's orders are accurate. She is also very crafty
and has a good artistic eye.
