Our Philosophy
We are
committed to providing a creative outlet for people of all ages. We are also committed to providing a place where entire
families can gather and have fun doing something together, while sharing quality time expressing each individual's own
creativity. Creating something by hand can be very relaxing and therapeutic, not to mention confidence boosting You
will be amazed by your results when you see your finished product. Since there are no mistakes in art - everyone
will have the unique opportunity to create their very own masterpiece in their own way. Basic instruction and techniques
will be offered as well as suggestions which will fit each artist's own individual desires. We guarantee you will
have an enjoyable experience regardless of what you choose to create.
Our Shop - A Child Friendly Environment
Our shop is child friendly and children
of all ages are always welcome. We have a kid friendly toy room available for young children or nursing moms.
We have toys and activities that will keep your little ones engaged and entertained while parents paint. We also have
many projects that can be done with little hands and feet. Don't hesitate to bring your children with you.
Sometimes you may even find the owner's toddler Samuel in the shop with her.

Who We Are
We are
a small family run business. Rosalynn is the main operator, but her husband, Forrest, kindly provides the muscle for
loading and unloading and babysitting of their young toddler, while Rosalynn is away. Samuel's grandma and
grandpas also pitch in by babysitting throughout the week, so Rosalynn can run the shop and attend to many offsite jobs. Whenever
necessary, everyone pitches in. Samuel has even contributed to several display samples. Rosalynn has been an oil
painter for many years and loves painting in multiple mediums. She loves helping people tap into their creativity and
she will help coax that inner artist out of anyone. Rosalynn has always enjoyed making unique gifts for people
in her circle of family and friends and she would love the opportunity to help you do the same through Paint your Own Ceramics.
The business started on June 30th, 2007 by operating at the Port Angeles Farmer's Market two days a week. Since
October 3rd, it has moved into an indoor location and its popularity has grown considerably. The selection of bisque
has also increased exponentially since it's first humble debut last summer. We still maintain the mobile
component of the business and we're happy to come to you and set up a painting party or workshop at your home or
place of business. We now offer Glass Fusing and Wet Clay for Handbuilding in addition to Painting your Own
Ceramics. We can customize a package for any budget as well as come up with something to satisfy any theme or preference.
